Perimeter Bolt Features

The Perimeter Bolt Replacement System is made up of three parts: the lag screw, washer, and dome-headed machine bolt, matches the threads of pre-Great Depression Steinways.

It is inserted into rim, then a washer designed to protect the top of the plate from damage is placed on top of it, and lastly the dome-headed machine bolt, which holds the plate down to the lag screw top surface, is placed into the lag screw.

Adjustable Plate Perimeter Bolt

The WNG Adjustable Plate Bolt allows height to be set through the perimeter bolt hole in the plate using an 8mm Allen Wrench. The cap bolt threads into the perimeter bolt below the hex for easy tightening.

Three lengths of Chrome Plated Cap Bolts are provided to allow for a wide range of plate thicknesses.
